Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LinkedVix collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit linkedvix.com and its subdomains, including https://linkedvix.com, fill in one of our forms, or order a service. It also explains your rights and how to exercise them.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is [Company legal name], a company registered in Brazil under number [CNPJ], with its registered address at [Registered address] ("LinkedVix", "we", "us" or "our").
For any privacy question or request, including requests to our data protection officer (the "encarregado" under Brazil's LGPD), write to hello@linkedvix.com.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal data we handle through our websites, checkout pages, emails and services. It covers customers, people who join our waitlist or newsletter or contact us, website visitors, and people whose LinkedIn profiles are reviewed at the request of a customer.
It does not cover how LinkedIn, Stripe, Meta or other third parties handle data under their own privacy policies.
3. Personal data we collect
3.1 Order form
When you order a Premium Profile Review, we collect:
- your name, email address and country, and your phone number if you choose to give it;
- the URL of the LinkedIn profile to be reviewed;
- your goals, target role, any free-text context you choose to share, and your language choices for the review;
- your consent choices, such as acceptance of our Terms of Service, your request for immediate performance, and your marketing email choice, with the date and time;
- campaign information, such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers contained in the link you used to reach our website; and
- your IP address and browser user agent at the time of the order, for fraud prevention.
3.2 Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on pages provided by Stripe, and we never receive or store your card number. Stripe sends us limited information, such as your email address, billing country, payment status, amount, currency and transaction reference.
3.3 Contact, waitlist and newsletter forms
When you use our contact form, join a waitlist or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name, email address, the subject of your interest, your message, and your consent choices.
3.4 Data from the Reviewed Profile
To prepare a review, we use the information visible on the LinkedIn profile whose URL was submitted (the "Reviewed Profile"), such as name, photo, headline, About section, experience, education, skills, certifications, recommendations and recent activity. We never ask for LinkedIn passwords and we do not access anyone's LinkedIn account.
If a customer orders a review of a profile that is not their own, we process this information about the person to whom the profile belongs (the "Profile Owner"), who is not our customer. Section 7 explains what this means for Profile Owners.
3.5 Communications
We keep the emails and messages you exchange with us. Our email system may record whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked.
3.6 Server logs and technical data
Our web servers automatically record technical information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page, and the date and time of the request. If you accept optional cookies, the tools described in Section 8 also collect information about your visit.
3.7 Sensitive information
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health data or religious beliefs, and ask you not to include it in free-text fields. We do not use the review process to draw conclusions about anyone's sensitive characteristics.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- To process your order and deliver the review, including viewing the profile, preparing the review and sending it by email. Basis: performance of a contract.
- To review a profile that belongs to someone other than the customer. Basis: legitimate interests (ours and the customer's) in providing the requested professional review. We limit this to information the Profile Owner has made visible on a professional network and use it only to prepare the review. The Profile Owner has the right to object (Section 7).
- To take payments, issue invoices and meet tax and accounting duties. Basis: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.
- To provide customer support and reply to contact form messages. Basis: performance of a contract, or legitimate interests in responding to requests.
- To manage the waitlist and send our newsletter and marketing emails. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To understand which campaigns bring visitors and orders, using UTM parameters. Basis: legitimate interests.
- To measure the performance of our advertising, using the Meta Pixel and advertising click identifiers. Basis: your consent, given through our cookie banner.
- To keep our websites secure and prevent fraud and abuse, including by recording IP address and user agent. Basis: legitimate interests and, under the LGPD, fraud prevention and security of the data subject.
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims and respond to lawful requests. Basis: legitimate interests, the regular exercise of rights, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. AI tools and automated decision-making
We use AI service providers to help analyze profiles and draft parts of the review. We share with them only the information needed for this task. We choose providers and settings under which, according to their terms, the data we submit is not used to train their general models.
We do not make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects about anyone based solely on automated processing. AI only assists with drafting, and a person on our team is responsible for the final review.
6. Recipients of personal data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only as described in this section.
6.1 Service providers
The providers below process personal data on our behalf and under our instructions. Some of them, such as Stripe and Meta, also process certain data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies, for example for fraud prevention or legal compliance.
| Provider | Purpose | Main locations |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Checkout, payment processing, receipts and fraud prevention | United States and other countries |
| Hostinger | Hosting of our websites and forms, and storage of server logs | European Union and other countries |
| HighLevel (our CRM provider) | Customer relationship management, order records and email delivery | United States |
| Google Workspace | Business email and storage of review documents | United States and other countries |
| AI service providers (for example, Anthropic) | Assisting with profile analysis and drafting of review text | United States and other countries |
| Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) | Advertising measurement, only if you accept optional cookies | United States, Ireland and other countries |
The fonts used on our websites are hosted on our own servers. Loading our pages does not send your data to font providers such as Google Fonts.
6.2 Delivery of the review
We send the review only to the customer who ordered it. If the customer ordered a review of someone else's profile, that customer receives the review about the Profile Owner.
6.3 LinkedIn
We do not send customer data to LinkedIn. When we view a profile, LinkedIn may record the view and, depending on the Profile Owner's settings, the Profile Owner may see it.
6.4 Other disclosures
- Legal requirements. We may disclose personal data when the law requires it, or in response to valid requests from courts or public authorities.
- Protection of rights. We may disclose personal data where needed to protect our rights, our customers or others, for example to prevent fraud or to respond to a payment dispute.
- Business changes. If our business is merged, sold or reorganized, personal data may be transferred to the successor, subject to this policy.
7. Profile Owners
A customer may order a review of a LinkedIn profile that is not their own. Our Terms require the customer to have a legitimate reason and prohibit using the review to harass or discriminate against anyone.
If you believe your profile was reviewed, you can contact us at hello@linkedvix.com. Depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask whether we hold a review of your profile, obtain a copy, ask us to delete it, or object to the processing. If you object, we will stop processing your data unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or need it for legal claims. If you report misuse of a review, we will investigate it.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use the following cookies and similar technologies:
- LVXSID (essential). A session cookie used for security, including protection against cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and for the operation of our forms. It is deleted when you close your browser.
- lvx_consent (essential). Stores your cookie choice so that we can respect it on later visits.
- Stripe (essential for payment). Stripe uses cookies on its checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud.
- Meta Pixel and analytics (optional). Used to measure the results of our advertising and how our websites are used. They are loaded only after you give consent through our cookie banner.
Essential cookies do not require consent. You can change or withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time through the "Privacy choices" link in the footer of our websites. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking essential cookies may prevent our forms from working.
9. International data transfers
We are based in Brazil, and our service providers operate in the United States, the European Union and other countries. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one where you live, which may have different data protection laws.
When we transfer personal data internationally, we use the safeguards required by applicable law, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the standard contractual clauses approved by Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), or other equivalent lawful mechanisms. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.
10. Retention
- Order, payment and invoice records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require, for example 5 years.
- Review documents: 24 months after delivery, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete a review earlier. We may still keep the basic order record required by law.
- Leads, waitlist and newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or after 24 months of inactivity. We keep a minimal record of unsubscribed addresses so that we do not email you again.
- Support correspondence: as long as needed to handle your request, and then for the same period as the related order records.
- Server logs: up to 12 months, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
We may keep data longer where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. When we no longer need personal data, we delete or anonymize it.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, such as access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the competent authorities where the law requires it.
12. Your rights
Your rights depend on where you live. We will respect the rights that apply to you under the law.
12.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
You have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interests, object at any time to direct marketing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
12.2 Brazil
Under the LGPD, you have the right to confirmation of processing; access; correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary, excessive or unlawfully processed data; portability; deletion of data processed with your consent; information about the entities with which we share your data; information about the possibility of refusing consent and its consequences; withdrawal of consent; and review of decisions based solely on automated processing. You may also file a petition with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
12.3 United States
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access and obtain a copy of it; to correct it; to delete it; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising; to appeal a decision on your request; and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 3: identifiers, contact details, commercial information (orders), internet activity, approximate location derived from country or IP address, and professional information from LinkedIn profiles. We disclose them to the service providers listed in Section 6 for business purposes.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, except that if you accept optional cookies, the Meta Pixel may collect information about your visit, which some state laws may treat as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out at any time by declining or changing your choice through the "Privacy choices" link in the footer, or by writing to us. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out request. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity. If we decline your request, you can appeal by writing to hello@linkedvix.com with "Privacy appeal" in the subject line.
12.4 How to exercise your rights
Send your request to hello@linkedvix.com. To protect your data, we may ask you to verify your identity, usually by replying from the email address linked to your order. We will reply within the time limits set by applicable law, for example within one month under the GDPR, and we will inform you if we need more time. Exercising your rights is free of charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
13. Marketing emails
We send newsletters and marketing emails only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by writing to us. Service emails, such as payment confirmations and review delivery, are not marketing and will still be sent when needed.
14. Children
Our services are not intended for anyone under 18 years old, and people under 18 may not use them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from people under 18, and our Terms prohibit ordering a review of the profile of a person under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
15. Links to other websites
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, including LinkedIn, to which we link.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy by publishing a new version on this page. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to inform you.
