Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit linkedvix.com and its subdomains, including https://linkedvix.com, or when you order a service from LinkedVix. Please read them carefully. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

2. Definitions

  • "You" or "Customer" means the person who places an order or uses our websites.
  • "Websites" means linkedvix.com and its subdomains, including any checkout page we operate on a subdomain.
  • "Reviewed Profile" means the LinkedIn profile whose link you submit with your order. It may be your own profile or, under the conditions in Section 9.2, someone else's.
  • "Profile Owner" means the person to whom the Reviewed Profile belongs.
  • "Review" means the written review document we deliver to you, including any suggested texts.

3. Our services

3.1 Premium Profile Review

The Premium Profile Review is a one-time service. We analyze the Reviewed Profile and send you, by email, a written document with our observations and recommendations. The Review may include suggested texts, for example a new headline or About section.

The Review is written in the language you choose when you order. It is based on the information visible on the Reviewed Profile at the time we view it.

3.2 How we prepare the Review

You only need to send us the public URL of the Reviewed Profile. We view the profile in the same way any LinkedIn member can. We will never ask for your LinkedIn password or for access to your LinkedIn account.

We may use software tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) services, to help analyze the profile and draft parts of the Review. A person on our team is responsible for the final Review.

3.3 Profile management packages

We may in the future offer done-for-you profile management packages. At present, they are available only through a waitlist, and joining it creates no obligation for you or for us. If we offer these packages, they may be subject to additional terms, which we will show you before you buy. If additional terms conflict with these Terms, the additional terms apply to that service.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you order on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. You must not submit the profile of a person under 18 years old.

5. Ordering and payment

5.1 Placing an order

You order through the form at https://linkedvix.com/premium-review or through any other checkout page we provide on our Websites. You must provide accurate and complete information, including a working email address and the correct link to the Reviewed Profile.

5.2 Price and currency

The Premium Profile Review costs USD 9.90 per review, as a one-time payment. It is not a subscription, and you will not be charged again unless you place a new order. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your order.

Taxes may apply depending on your location and, where required by law, will be shown or added at checkout. Currency conversion or foreign transaction fees are set by your bank or card issuer, not by us.

5.3 Payment through Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on pages provided by Stripe and are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment.

5.4 When the contract is formed

Your order is accepted when your payment is confirmed and we send you a confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if we suspect fraud, if we believe the order breaks these Terms or the law, or if we cannot provide the service. Section 7.3 applies in that case.

5.5 Immediate start of the service

By placing an order, you expressly request that we begin the service immediately after your payment is confirmed. Section 7 explains how this affects any right of withdrawal you may have.

6. Delivery

We aim to deliver the Review to the email address you provided within 48 hours after payment confirmation. This is a target delivery time and not a guaranteed deadline.

If you do not receive our emails, please check your spam folder or contact us.

If the profile link is invalid, or the profile is private or otherwise not visible to us, we will contact you and ask for a valid link. The target delivery time starts again when we receive a valid link. If you do not send a valid link within 7 days of our request, we will cancel the order as described in Section 7.3.

7. Cancellation, right of withdrawal and statutory rights

7.1 Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom

Consumers resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom normally have a right to withdraw from a contract for services within 14 days of its conclusion. By placing an order, you expressly request that we begin performing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. The service is fully performed when we deliver the Review.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal within the 14-day period and before the Review is delivered, the amount to be returned is determined in accordance with applicable law. Where the law allows, you will be required to pay an amount proportionate to the part of the service performed up to the time you informed us of your withdrawal, and the remainder of the amount paid will be returned to you.

7.2 How to give notice

To exercise a right of withdrawal or any other statutory right relating to an order, send a clear statement of your decision to hello@linkedvix.com. Please include the email address used for the order.

7.3 Orders declined, cancelled or not delivered by us

If we decline or cancel an order, or if we cannot deliver the Review, the amount you paid for that order will be returned to you. This includes the case described in Section 6, where a valid profile link is not provided within 7 days of our request. Amounts are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. We are not responsible for currency conversion or bank fees charged by your bank or card issuer.

7.4 Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, including rights relating to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill or as described.

7.5 Payment disputes and chargebacks

If you believe there is a problem with a charge or an order, we ask that you contact us at hello@linkedvix.com before opening a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer, so that we can review the matter. This does not limit your right to contact your bank. If a dispute is opened, we may share relevant order and delivery information with Stripe and your card issuer for the purpose of reviewing it.

8. Nature of the Review

The Review contains our professional opinion and recommendations. It is not a guarantee of any result.

  • We do not promise job offers, interviews, promotions, clients, sales, profile views, connections, followers, search ranking or any other specific outcome.
  • Results depend on factors outside our control, including your own actions and LinkedIn's features and policies.
  • We do not verify whether the information on the Reviewed Profile is true or complete.
  • The Review is not legal, financial, tax or immigration advice, and whether you apply it is your decision.

9. Your responsibilities

9.1 General

  • Provide accurate information and keep your email address reachable.
  • Read and adjust any suggested texts before you publish them. You are responsible for ensuring that everything you publish about yourself or others is true, accurate and lawful.
  • Follow LinkedIn's own terms and policies when you update a profile.

9.2 Reviews of someone else's profile

You may order a Review of a profile that is not your own only if you have a legitimate reason to do so. For example, the Profile Owner asked you to, or you are the Profile Owner's manager, mentor or coach and are helping them improve their profile with their knowledge.

When you order a Review of someone else's profile, you confirm that:

  • you have a legitimate reason for the order and your use of the Review complies with all applicable laws, including privacy and data protection laws;
  • you will not share the Review in a way that harms the Profile Owner; and
  • you accept full responsibility for how you use the Review.

The Profile Owner can contact us about their data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9.3 Prohibited uses of the Review

You must not use any Review, or any information in it, to:

  • harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, embarrass or defame anyone;
  • discriminate against anyone on the basis of any characteristic protected by law;
  • decide whether a person is eligible for employment, credit, insurance, housing or any similar benefit; or
  • break any law or infringe anyone else's rights.

We may refuse or cancel any order if we reasonably believe it is placed for an improper purpose.

10. Acceptable use of our Websites

When you use our Websites, you must not:

  • use them for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • submit false information or impersonate another person;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with the operation of our Websites;
  • copy, scrape or collect content or data from our Websites by automated means without our written permission; or
  • resell our services or Reviews without our written permission.

11. Intellectual property

11.1 Use of the Review

Once your order is paid, you may use the Review and the suggested texts for your personal and professional purposes. You may copy, edit and publish the suggested texts on the Reviewed Profile (if it is someone else's profile, only with the Profile Owner's authorization). You do not need to credit us.

You may not name LinkedVix as the author of texts you publish, or suggest that LinkedVix endorses you or your profile, unless we agree in writing.

11.2 Our rights

We retain all rights in our methods, frameworks, criteria, templates, checklists, know-how, brand and website content. Using our services does not give you any right to use our name, logo or trademarks.

11.3 Your information

You retain your rights in the information you send us and allow us to use it to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy. We will not publish your Review or use your name or Review as a testimonial without your permission.

12. Independence from LinkedIn

LinkedVix is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by LinkedIn Corporation. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. We use the name only to describe the platform to which our services relate.

13. Third-party services

Our services rely on third parties, such as LinkedIn, Stripe and our hosting and email providers. We are not responsible for their availability, changes or actions. Their own terms and policies apply when you use their services.

14. Disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity

14.1 Disclaimers

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent permitted by law, our services and Websites are provided "as is" and "as available", without other warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

14.2 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • our total liability for any claim relating to an order, a Review or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for that order; and
  • we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any loss of profits, income, opportunities, employment, business, reputation or data.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for fraud, for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14.3 Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of Section 9 or Section 10.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including data about Profile Owners.

16. Changes to these Terms or our services

We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order. We may also change, suspend or stop offering any service. This does not affect orders already paid, which we will either complete or handle as described in Section 7.3.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you also retain the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in the courts of that country.

Please contact us first at hello@linkedvix.com so that we can try in good faith to resolve any dispute within 30 days.

18. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with any additional terms shown to you for a specific service, are the entire agreement between you and us about our services.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not waived it.
  • Transfer. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a successor of our business, provided your rights are not reduced.
  • Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages of LinkedIn, email or internet services. If such an event prevents delivery, Section 7.3 applies.
  • Electronic communications. Emails we send about your order satisfy any requirement for written notice.
  • Language. The English version of these Terms prevails over any translation, unless the law requires otherwise.
